Chester Arthur Cundiff, 80, of Auburn, died Wednesday in Springfield Community Hospital. Born in Kentucky, the son of the late George and Sally Cundiff, he retired in 1965 from Fiat-Allis.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Myrtle (Trout) in 1969. He is survived by two daughters and four sons; sister Mrs. Nora Croney; several grandchildren.
Services will be Friday at Berry Funeral Home, Auburn. Burial will be in Oak Ridge Cemetery.
