Marieta was born to Harmon and Ida (Grise) Culler on January 14, 1918.
Marieta was married to the love of her life, Tom, for more than 60 years until his passing in 2001.
She was devoted to and blessed by her family, Tom (Millie) Carroll of Columbus, Ray (Carolyn) Carroll of Canton and Sue (Joe) Snyder of Canton; grandchildren, Valerie and Rickie Carroll, Michele (Kevin) Boone, Justin Carroll (fiancé Dr. Amber Somerville), Marissa and Jeremy Snyder. She adored her two great-grandchildren, Tyler and Makenna Boone. She treasured a special nephew, Richard Culler. She is also survived by her brother, Eugene (Vivian) Culler, sister, Ruth Ann (John) Bartholemew and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was an inspiration to many, learning how to drive at the age of 71!
Marieta enjoyed making crafts, sewing, crocheting, gardening, baking and the Cleveland Indians. She had been a Cub Scout Den Mother, Women's Guild member, Sunday school teacher. She also participated in the Washington Ruritan Shows. Her beautiful alto voice was heard in the choir of Maximo Zion Church for more than 50 years.
She was greeted in Heaven by her parents; husband, Tom, grandson, Jason, and five siblings, Pearl Pearson, Carol Guethle, Floyd, Melvin and Wilford Culler.
The family would like to thank Melissa, Rose, Molly and the Novitas Unit at Altercare for their kindness shown to her during her stay.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests to help keep the legacy of her giving spirit alive by continuing acts of kindness to others. 1st John 3:18.
Interment will be at Highland Memorial Park.
