Mrs. Adella Beard, a lifelong resident of the Canton area, died in her home on the Canton-Alliance road this morning following a long illness. Born in Canton, Mrs. Beard was 48 and a member of Werstler[sic] Church.
She leaves her husband, Frank, of the home; five sons, Clayton of East Canton and Dale, Paul, Frederick and Robert of the home; two brothers, Clayton Culler of Louisville and Atlee Culler of Canton, and three sisters, Mrs. Charles Snyder of Louisville and Mrs. Bernard Keller and Mrs. Everett Northrup of Canton. Services will be Monday at 2:30 p.m. in the Jack funeral home in charge of Rev. W. E. Weber and Rev. C. L. Werstler[sic]. Burial will be in Werstler[sic] Cemetery.
