Death: Oct. 1, 1994

Tony's parents, Antonio and Juana (Castillo) Cuevas were born, raised and married in Mexico. In 1902 they immigrated to El Paso, Texas where Tony was born. He was the third of eight children. Sometime between 1817 and 1920 the family moved to Santa Barbara, California where Tony and his siblings lived the rest of their lives. Most of his life he worked as a laborer in construction. He was greatly loved by all who knew him and the best Step-Dad anyone could have ever hoped for. He made the last years of my mother's life the happiest years of her life.

Tony, you were the best thing that ever happened to my mother, Helen. You made her last years the happiest years of her life. I could never have hoped for a better step-dad. Love You, Paul
