Mary V Aguilar, 63, of New Braunfels, formerly of Port Lavaca, passed away July 16, 2010. She was born January 18, 1947 in Los Angeles, CA to the late Quirino Cuellar, Sr. and Maria L. Trevino. She was an Assistant Housekeeper for Ramada and a Catholic.
She is survived by her husband, Juan Silvas; daughters, Annette Cortez, Mary Ellen Garica and Bertha Badillo; sons, Rudy Aguilar, Johnny Aguilar, Joe L. Aguilar and Richard Aguilar; sisters, Dora Taylor, Janie Fuentez, Santos Ramirez, Alice DeLaGarza and Terrie Cuellar; brothers, Quirino Cuellar, Raymond Cuellar, Jimmy Cuellar, Joe L. Cuellar, Anthony Cuellar and Felix Cuellar; 28 grandchildren and 38 great-grandchildren.
Preceded in death by her parents and son, Rene Aguilar.
Visitation will be held Thursday, July 22, 2010 from 5-7 p.m. with a rosary to begin at 7 p.m. at Richardson-Colonial Funeral Home. Funeral Mass will be Friday, July 23, 2010 at 10 a.m. at Our Lady of the Gulf Catholic Church. Interment will follow in Port Lavaca Cemetery.
Pallbearers are Gilbert Aguilar, Rene Reyes Aguilar, Rudy Aguilar III, Johnny Angel Aguilar, Rene Cortez and Joe Aguilar.
Honorary Pallbearers are her sons.
Memorial donations may be made in her name to Capital One in Port Lavaca, TX 77979 to help defray funeral expenses.
