Emma Jane, beloved daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Frank Cruse, was called to dwell with Christ above October 9, 1894, after a long and severe siege of suffering.
She was born April 17, 1865, at Cincinnati, Ohio, and moved with her parents to Laharpe, Kan., in the spring of 1884, being 29 years, 5 months and 22 days.
Emma was a bright and industrious girl, being loved by all who knew her on account of being such a great sufferer.
Although we miss her, our loss is only Christ's gain.
The funeral services were held at the M.E. church at LaHarpe, October 13, 1894
