Mable V. Peterson Cruse, 71, of Ocean Springs, died Tuesday December 21, 2004 at Forrest General Hospital in Hattiesburg, MS. She was born November 19, 1933 in Tallahatchie County, MS. Mrs. Cruse retired from Swingster Corp. in Ocean Springs, and was a member of Skylark Baptist Church of Gautier.
She was preceded in death by her husband; Clifton Cruse, one son; Baby Clif Cruse, one daughter; Marsha Merrita Cruse, her father; James Peterson, her mother; Daisy Northington, and two sisters; Martha Garrison and Shirley Bynum.
Survivors include a daughter; Florance Cruse Keenum of Mt. Olive, MS, two sons; Frank Wayne Cruse of Ocean Springs, and Ramous James Cruse of Collins, MS, one brother; James Peterson of Tucson, AZ, three sisters; Rachel Touchstone of Eddison, MS, Ann Yelverton of Taylorsville, MS, and Darline Duniea of Tucson, AZ, six grandchildren, ten great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Visitation will be from 11:00am until 2:00pm on Monday, December 27, 2004 at Skylark Baptist Church in Gautier, MS. The funeral service will begin at 2:00pm with Rev. Rayford Cooley officiating. Burial will follow at Pinecrest Cemetery in Gautier.
Pallbearers will be Chris Cruse, Clint Cruse, Les Cruse, Wayne Gullotte, Steve Register, Albert Wainwright, William Yocom, and Greg Yocom.
