Birth: Mar. 28, 1888
Golden Pond
Trigg County
Kentucky, USA
Death: Jun. 1, 1912

"Mrs. Eva Baker died June 1st at eight o'clock a.m. after a short illness of one week. All that friends and neighbors could do to ease the sufferer was done without avail and she passed to the Great Beyond leaving a husband, two step-sons, Melburn and Willis, a step-daughter, Mrs. Elsie Hall, two brothers, James and Louis Crump of Tonkawa, Okla., and Chas. Murphy, a half-brother, of Billings, Okla., to mourn her death. Eva Crump was born in Golden Pond, Kentucky, March 28, 1888. For the past four years she had made her home in Beaver Co. Okla., with Mr. and Mrs. J.C. Bales, until January 1911, when she was united in matrimony to J.M. Baker of Beaver City. They recently moved to Seward county, living in the Valley Center neighborhood, where they had made many friends. She had lived a Christian life since her girlhood and was wholly and perfectly willing to meet her God. Mrs. Bates came to her as soon as she received the message of her illness and stayed by her, giving her all the tender care until the end. The funeral was held Sunday, June 2, at the home, Mrs. Chas. Leamings conducting the services. Interment in the Bixler cemetery near here."
