He married in 1894 Elizabeth BIRKMEYER, they had two children, Frank and Pearl and lived at 2200 Hurley Ave., Cleveland, Ohio. He was a patrolman for the city of Cleveland and had lost part of a leg. He died 6 August 1926 in Cleveland, Ohio at age 53. His widow, Elizabeth, married William G. METZNER and she died 31 March 1955 in Cleveland, Ohio at age 80. Their son Frank Joseph CRUMBAKER was living in St. Albans, West Virginia in 1955. Their daughter, Pearl (CRUMBAKER) WALTER GRAPES died at age 72 at her home in Chippewa on the Lake, Ohio. She was the widow of Otto WALTER and Jennings GRAPES and the mother of four children. Curtis and Elizabeth CRUMBAKER, their daughter, Pearl WALTER GRAPES and Otto WALTER were all buried in Brooklyn Heights Cemetery, Cuyahoga county, Ohio.
