PALMER CRUMB DIED LAST NIGHT, Passed Away at Rockford Hospital After Overdose of Chloroform.
Palmer Crumb, son of Mr. and Mrs. Ernest V. Crumb, passed away last evening at 7:15 o'clock at Rockford Hospital, death beind due, it is thought, to an overdose of chloroform tken at home Tuesday afternoon. When found, he was in a serious condition, and was taken to the hospital where he died without gaining consciousness.
Palmer Crumb was born in Rockford, December 15, 1893, and had attended the public schools here, going as far as the third year in the High school, before illness caused him to drop out. Since then every effort has been made to regain his health, the last summer being spent in New York.
He is survived by his parents, one sister, Helen and a brother, Burritt L. Crumb, all of Rockford. Burial will be in the West Side cemetery.
