MRS. ANN CRUMB DIES HERE AT THE AGE OF 89. Death Comes to Widow on 20th Anniversary of B.L. Crumb's Death---Funeral Wednesday.
Mrs. Ann Eliza Crumb, widow of the late B.L. Crumb, retired lumberman, died at 1 o'clock this morning at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Frank S. Regan, at the age of 86 years. Her death came on the twentieth anniversary of the death of her husband. Mrs. Crumb was born December 16, 1838 at Saratoga Springs, New York. Her marriage took place in 1859 in New York state. They moved to Chicago in 1868 where they lived until 1888, when they came to Rockford.
Mrs. Crumb was the mother of five children, three of whom survive. The late E.V. Crumb was a son and the late Mrs. Frances Crumb Rundell a daughter. Mrs. Crumb was a member of State Street Baptist church and was actively interested in many charitable movements in this city. The funeral will be held from the home of the daughter Wednesday afternoon at 2:30 o'clock. Burial will be in Greenwood Cemetery.
