"Rockford Morning Star", July 9, 1943: Funeral services for Mrs. Helen Mabel Regan, 70, will be held at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at the home. Burial will be in Greenwood cemetery. Mrs. Regan, who died at 5:30 a.m. yesterday at her home following a long illness, was the wife of Frank S. Regan, tax expert and lecturer and Prohibition party candidate for vice president of the United States in 1932. She had resided in Rockford for nearly 63 years and lived at the home address 43 years. Born June 14, 1873, in Chicago, Mrs. Regan was the daughter of Burritt and Ann Eliza Crumb. She accompanied her parents to Rockford in 1887 and married Mr. Regan June 11, 1895. He is a former member of the state legislature. Mrs. Regan was a member of Second Congregational church. Survivors besides her husband are a son, one daughter, two grandsons and a sister, Mrs. Bertha Clifton, Oak Park. Mrs. Regan was preceded in death by two sisters, Mrs. Gene C. Bristol and Mrs. Fannie Rundell, and a brother, Ernest Crumb.
