Mrs. Mary M. Crumb, 74, 1012 North Court street, wife of Haskell A. Crumb, died at 1:30 a.m. today at her home from complications resulting from a fall three weeks ago at Lake Waubesa, near Madison, Wisconsin, in which she injured her spine.
Mrs. Crumb was born January 25, 1867, in Marengo, Illinois and had resided in Rockford for more than 50 years. She was a member of Second Congregational church.
Surviving are her husband, Haskell A. Crumb; a son, Arthur R. Crumb of Rockford; a daughter, Frances C. Crumb of Providence, Rhode Island; five grandchildren and two brothers, A. J. Crandall of Rockford and H. S. Crandall of Los Angeles, California. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday at Burpee-Wood Funeral home. Burial will be in Greenwood cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home between 7 and 8 p.m. Wednesday.
