Mrs. Elizabeth Griffin Crowley, 72, Slaughters, died at 5 a. m. Sunday in her home following a year of illness. Surviving are three sons, Joe Crowley, Dearborn, Mich.; Herschel and Lonnie Crowley, both of Slaughters; five daughters, Mrs. E. B. Mullins, Grand Rapids, Mich.; Mrs. Amon Cobb, Slaughters; Mrs. David Shelton and Mrs. O. T. Davenport, both of Sebree, and Mrs. E. E. Warren, of Dixon; a large number of grandchildren and great-grandchildren; four brothers, George and Perry Griffin, both of near Hanson; Euen Griffin, Detroit, and Tolbert Griffin, Henderson, and two sisters, Mrs. Melvin Wicks, near- Hanson, And Mrs. Herschel Steffy, Hanson.
Funeral services will be conducted at Zion Brick church, near Slaughters.
The burial will be in the church cemetery. The body has been taken from the Crowley home to await the last rites.
