Crowell, Albert Fletcher of Garland, Tx passed away May 3, 2010 at age 87 in arms of his loving family. Born August 23, 1922 in Cameron, Tx. to William and Louanne Crowell. He was preceded in death by his parents, 5 brothers, a sister, and his son, Will. He is survived by his loving wife of 67 years, Marie, his children Betty and Leo Creel (Spring, Tx), daughter-in-law Davee Crowell (Neder-land, Tx,) John Crowell(Garland, Tx,) Mark and Suzon Crowell (Van Alstyne,Tx,), 10 grandchildren, 7 great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews. He served his country in World War II as a Seabee in the 93rd Battalion in the Pacific Theatre. He worked as a maintance engineer for Sun Oil Company in Beaumont and Dallas for 45 years. He loved Scouting and worked for 20 years as a Scout Master teaching his many boys love of God and country. He was an avid golfer and hunter. Viweing will be at Restland Funeral Home on Thursday May 6, 2010 from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Funeral Service will be conducted by Associate Pastor Mike Haynes of Creekwood United Methodist Church at Restland Funeral Homes's Wildwood Chapel on Friday at 12:30 p.m. He was dearly loved and will be greatly missed.
