Mary Jean Crowe Briscoe, 82, formerly of the Atlanta area, died August 31, 2013. Graveside services were held in Cheatham Hill Memorial Park, 1861 Dallas Hwy SW, in Marietta, Georgia, with Rev. Dan Hyde officiating.
Mrs. Briscoe was born in Birmingham, Alabama, to the late George Benjamin Crowe and Mary Lou Williams Crowe. Survivors include her children Eddie (Gail) Briscoe of Brevard, North Carolina, Debbie (Kendrick) Mathews of Fort Valley, Beth (Carl) Fuqua of Cartersville, and Kathi (Peter) Aller of Cartersville; eight grandchildren; three great grandchildren; and brother George B. (Marilyn) Crowe Jr. of Monroe. She is preceded in death by her husband William Edward Briscoe Sr.
