Hazel M. Crowe, 88, passed away, Monday, January 16, 2012, at Deaconess Hospital. She was born February 16, 1923, to parents Lucy Hart Dent Pope and Hiram Alonzo Pope.

She enjoyed gardening and planting flowers. Hazel also loved animals.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Ishmel J. Crowe; son, Marvin Crowe, Sr; sisters, Madeline Pope and Mary Ellen Wenzel.

Hazel is survived by her grandchildren, Timothy Crowe (Donna); Carol Doninger (Gary); Marvin Crowe, Jr. (Beth); great grandchildren, Daniel Doninger, Jennifer Crowe, and Talia Crowe.

Services will be Thursday, 2:00 PM at Alexander Memorial Park Cemetery, officiated by Rev. Karl Crowe with burial at Alexander Memorial Park Cemetery. Friends may visit from 1:00PM-2:00PM at the Cemetery.

Memorial contributions may be given to the Vanderburgh County Humane Society, 400 Millner Industrial Dr., Evansville, IN. 47710.
