She was born October 4, 1927 in Canton, Missouri the daughter of George and Pearl Barnes Crouch. On March 20, 1948 she married Kenneth Allensworth in Quincy, Illinois. He preceded her in death on May 4, 2003.
She was a member of Richfield Methodist Church.
Survivors include a son, Ken Allensworth and his wife Mary of Liberty, IL; 3 daughters, Debra Dalton, JoLynn Nutt and her husband Tony, and Cindy Terwische and her husband Byron, all of Quincy, IL; 8 grandchildren, Laura Lansing and her husband Nathan of Ursa, IL and Kyle Allensworth of Liberty, IL, Leigh Friday and her husband John and Somer Loutenschlager and her husband Adam, all of Quincy, IL, Ethan Nutt and his wife Sherry of Wentzville, MO, Michael Nutt and Katelyn "Dani" Nutt and Nicholus Terwische, all of Quincy; 10 great-grandchildren, Kenley, Liam, Avery, Haley, Joel, Alexis, Asher, Isabell, Addison and Brady, and a son-in-law Bill Dalton.
She was preceded in death by both parents, her stepfather, Paul Shaffer, 3 brothers, Mervyn, Paul, and Noble Crouch, and her nephew, Donald Crouch.
