RITES SET FOR SATURDAY

Edith Carney, 53, died July 20 in McMinnville. Funeral services have been set for Saturday, July 24 at 11 a.m. at the Macy and son Memorial chapel and burial will be in the Evergreen Memorial park.

Mrs. Carney was born in Fairfax, S.D. June 3, 1895

Survivors include her mother, Mrs. Henrietta Crosley; her widower, Thomas E. Carney; three sons, Norman Yule and Leroy Olerich of Mound, Minn., and Harold Yule, U.S. army; four daughters, Mrs. Roy Gray, Astoria, Mrs. Joe Vanecek, McMinnville, Mrs. Emma McBride, Alpine, and Mrs. Adolph Vanecek, McMinnville; a brother, Charles Crosley, U.S. army; five sisters, Mrs. Katherine Jones, Seattle, Mrs. Susan Wire, Fort Riley, Kan., Mrs. B. Duen Jr., Portland, Mrs. Adam Schmidt, Kansas, and Mrs. Ed Gerhen, Fernandina, Fla.
