Obit - CLARION - Mrs. Martha Crooks Quarles, 62, of 637 11th Ave., Huntington, W. Va., wife of Charles Quarles, died at 2 a.m. Monday at her residence. She was a former resident of this city. She was born in Clarion April 30, 1900, a daughter of Frank L. and the late Sara Dixon Crooks. Mrs. Quarles was a member of the Methodist Church in Huntington.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by her father, Frank L. Crooks of Clarion; two daughters; Mrs. Alfrd (Sally) Pale of North Carolina and Mrs. Tracy (Susan) Kouhns of Portsmouth, Ohio; nine grandchildren; four sisters, Mrs. Robert (Blanche) Hare of Altoona, Mrs. J.B. (Ethel) Hutchison of Philadelphia, Mrs. James (Ruth) Fallon of Fishkill, N.Y., and Mrs. B. F. (Frances) Hazelton of Phoenix, Ariz., and a brother, Robert Crooks of Clarion. Frinds redeived at Goble Funeral Home in Clarion after 7 p.m. today.

Funeral services will be held in the funeral home at 2 p.m. Wednesday with Rev. George A. Myers, pastor of the Clarion Methodist Church, officiating. Interment will be in the Clarion Cemetery. **The Derrick, Oil City, Pa., Tuesday, May 15, 1962, pg. 8
