Katie was educated in Concord schools and St. Johnsbury Academy. She married William J. Crofton in Concord, VT on November 17, 1904. Will and Katie had three daughters, Mildred, Grace, and Lucille. She boarded over 40 foster children and took pride in their achievements and growing families. She was loved by all who knew her.
