She was born September 21, 1904, in Vanderbilt, Pa., a daughter of William C. Critchfield and Sarah Mae Herbert Critchfield.
Her husband, Raymond Sturgis Chambers, two brothers, William G. "Brother" Critchfield II and Clarence "Critchy" Albert Critchfield, a sister, Irene Lou Critchfield Kramer, and her parents preceded her in death.
She is survived by two sisters: Elizabeth "Betty" Critchfield Boernke of Bloomington, Minnesota, and Barbara Jean Critchfield Neely of Kennewick, Washington; and eight nieces and nephews.
Graveside Services will be held Monday morning, March 26, at 11 a.m. in LaFayette Memorial Park, Brier Hill, Pa. The Rev. Kenneth Jones will officiate.
Arrangements are under direction of the JEROME W. SHELL FUNERAL HOME, Uniontown, Pa.
