Terrell Tribune, December, 1986 "Annie Belle Allen, Forney resident died in a Rockwall nursing home early Monday. Funeral services will be held from the First Baptist Church in Forney at 2 pm Tuesday with the Rev. Jerry Griffin officiating. Interment will be in the Hillcrest Cemetery in Forney under the direction of Anderson-Clayton Funeral Home. Annie Belle Allen, a daughter of the late Joseph Criswell and Georgia Storey Criswell, was born in Forney on April 23, 1905. She grew up in that area and had lived her entire life in and near that city. She was employed as a clerk at the Adams Drug Store for many years. She was a member of the First Baptist Church. Surviving are two daughters and sons-in-law, Jo Ann and Jerry Gibson of Terrell and Betty and the Rev. Schmeltekopf of San Antonio; one sister-in-law, Nora Criswell of Forney, a number of nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives. The family requests that if desired, memorials be made to the 'Elevator Fund' of the First Baptist Church of Forney."
