Blanche Armahizer, 89, of 165 Richardson St., Grove City, formerly of Kittanning, died Friday, June 23, 1989, at the Bonetti Nursing Home in Harrisville. She was born Aug., 19, 1889, in Washington Township to Thomas and Dolly (Cousis) Crissman. Surviving are two brothers, Charles Crissman of Kittanning and Ernest Crissman of Apollo; one sister, Anne McAfoose of Apollo; 10 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; and one niece, Beatrice Chraska, with whom she made her home. She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles S. Armahizer, in 1973; one daughter, Lucille Groves; one son, Walter Cousins; three brothers, Earl, Raymond and Harry; and four sisters, Vernie Spencer, Della Maharris, Mary Bowser and Pearl Wasson. ARMAHIZER - Friends of Blanche Armahizer, 89, of 165 Richardson St., Grove City, who died Friday, June 23, 1989, will be received from 2 to 4 p.m. and to 9 p.m. Sunday at the Snyder-Crissman Funeral Home of Kittanning, where services will be held at 1 p.m. Monday. Burial will follow in the Lawn Haven Memorial Park. Arrangements by Snyder-Crissman.
