Funeral for Martha L. Allen, 51, of Route 2 Hillsboro will be Tuesday at 2 p.m at Brown Service Funeral Home chapel with the Rev. J.T. Copeland and the Rev. Bill Pullen officiating.
Burial will be in Roselawn Cemetery. The family will receive friends tonight from 6 to 9. The family requests memorials be made to the Arthritis Foundation.
Mrs. Allen died Sunday at Decatur General Hospital. She was a member of Hillsboro Baptist Church.
She is survived by her husband, Wade Allen of Hillsboro; one son, Lindon Allen of Trinity; four brothers, Harold Crisler of Louisville, Ky; Fred Crisler of Memphis; Haskell Crisler and Clifton Crisler, both of Town Creek; four sisters, Clemontine Smith of Russellville; Flossie Gibson of Decatur; Betty Huddleston of Mount Juliet, Tenn; and Marjorie Dell Brackin of Huntsville; four half brothers, Sherman Crisler, Greer Crisler, Ussery Crisler and Billy Crisler, all of Town Creek; one half sister, Patricia Cleveland of Moulton; three stepsisters, Thelma Montgomery of Tuscumbia, Hazel Grey of Muscle Shoals, and Betty Cross of Town Creek; stepmother, Maggie Crisler of Town Creek; and two grandchildren.
Pallbearers will include Grady Allen, Cecil Allen, Larry Allen, Kenneth Allen, Quinton Allen, Jerry Gibson, Donny Scoggin and Carl Crisler.
