Edward was born on Feb. 12, 1934 in Lincoln, Neb. He was a longtime resident of Ventura County and an avid golfer and member of the Los Robles Greens Men's Club. He was also a proud and loyal supporter of his grandson's sporting events.
Edward is survived by his wife, Joyce Cripe; his son, John Cripe; his daughter, Carole Cripe-Cain; and his grandson, Dylan Cain. He also leaves behind his brother, James Cripe, and sister, Mary Oltjenbruns.
A memorial service will be held at 4 p.m. on Wednesday, Feb. 9 at the Griffin Family Funeral Chapels, Thousand Oaks. Arrangements were made with the assistance of Griffin Family Funeral Chapels, Thousand Oaks; 805-230-2800.
