EUREKA, IL - Lillian Crew, 83, of Eureka, formerly of Varna, passed away at 3:20 p.m. on Thursday, Dec. 29, 2011, at Washington Christian Village.
She was born on Sept. 18, 1928, in Tonica, Ill., to the late William S. and Alma (Ross) Lohr. She married Russell Crew in Lacon on Nov. 23, 1946. He preceded her in death.
She is survived by daughters, Bonnie (John) Austin of Granbury, Texas, Diane (Gary) Lindsay of Litchfield, Ill., Nancy (Pat) Buchanan of Mount Iron, Minn., and Cyndi (Dennie) Quin of Washington, Ill.; seven grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; and one sister, Gayle (Pseika) Nagle of Oglesby, Ill.
She was preceded in death by two brothers and nine sisters.
Lillian was an industrial engineer at Hobbs-Stewart Warner Division in Spring Valley for over 25 years.
She was a member of the Protestant Church and a member of the Manufacturing Engineering Society.
Cremation rites have been accorded and burial of ashes will be held privately at a later date.
