Jessie Mae Creekmore NORFOLK - Jessie Mae Creekmore, 87, of Norfolk, transitioned from life to eternity Oct. 14, 2011. Jessie Mae was employed 27 years as a private duty domestic care provider. She was predeceased by her husband, Edward C. Creekmore Sr.; sons, Vernell Clark, Sonny Creekmore, and Clifton Creekmore; and granddaughter, Sabrina Johnson. Surviving are her sons, Paul Clark of Georgia, Milton Creekmore of North Carolina, Louis Creekmore of California, Jerry Creekmore; daughters, Gloria Johnson of Virginia, Belinda Miller, Pamela Creekmore, Leona Phelps, all of Virginia, and Earsell Prince of Georgia; five brothers, four sisters; 27 grandchildren, and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and friends. Services will be held 11 a.m. Friday, Oct. 21, at First Baptist Church, Logan Park. The family will receive friends 7 to 8 p.m. in Metropolitan Funeral Service, Granby Street. Interment will convene in Calvary Cemetery, Norfolk. Condolences may be offered to the family at www.metropolitanfuneralservice.com.
