A celebration of the life of Betty Martin Creekmore will be held at 1 p.m. Wednesday, June 27, 2012, at All Souls' Episcopal Church, followed by a reception in the All Souls' Parish Hall. Betty died in Oklahoma City on June 23, 2012, at the age of 82. She was raised in Shawnee, OK by her beloved parents, Bessie and Earl Martin. After graduating from Shawnee High School, Betty moved to Tulsa, where she met her husband, Tom, whom she married in 1951. Betty is survived by daughters: Pam O'Shields of Burleson, TX; and Cindy Pipkin of Oklahoma City; son, Tom Creekmore of Tulsa; and their spouses, Michael O'Shields, Ben Pipkin and Beverly Creekmore ; nine grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren and two great-great- grandchildren. Betty will be remembered as a woman of great faith, with an unconditional love for her family and friends. Her indomitable spirit, sweet smile and fierce love and loyalty will remain in our hearts and memories forever. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial contributions be made to Life Change Ballroom, 4509 Tamarisk Dr, Oklahoma City, OK 73142; or to All Souls' Episcopal Church, 6400 N Pennsylvania Ave, Oklahoma City, OK 73116.
