Mr. Creekmore was a member of St. Paul CME Church in Norfolk and was a Mason. He was employed at the Norfolk Naval Shipyard in Portsmouth and later at the Norfolk Naval Air Station until he retired at age 72.
He is survived by his loving wife, Jessie Mae Creekmore; five daughters and eight sons; 29 grandchildren; 42 great-grandchildren; 11 great-great-grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends.
A homegoing service will be conducted at noon Wednesday at St. Paul CME Church. Interment will follow at Calvary Cemetery. Viewing will be from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Tuesday at Pretlow and Sons Funeral Home, Chesapeake.
