Anna B. Creek, 81, 2833 Collins St., died at 11 a.m. Friday, Dec. 26, 1980, in Swedish-American Hospital after a brief illness.
Born Jan. 28, 1899, in Black Rock Ark., the daughter of William and Mary Ora Beesley. Lived 38 years in Rockford, coming here from Lawrence County, Ark. Married Otis Lee Creek in Black Rock, Jan. 13 1923. He died Sept. 9, 1978. Employed in the finishing department of Illinois Cabinet Division, General Electric Co. for 12 years, retiring in 1962. Member Southern Baptist Church.
Survivors include three daughters, Mrs. Vida Blade, Mrs. Ida Lawson, and Mrs. Lida White, all of Rockford; a son David R., Rockford; 16 grandchildren; and 28 great-grandchildren.
Services at 1:30 p.m., Monday, Dec. 29, in Sundberg Funeral Home, 215 N. 6th St. Burial in Sunset Memorial Gardens. Friends may call at the funeral home Sunday from 7 to 9 p.m.
