Miss Clara Creek, 79

Miss Clara Creek, 79, a life-long resident of the Liberty vicinity, died Tuesday morning at the IOOF hospital. She had been in poor health for about four years. Miss Creek was the daughter of the late Killian and Mary E Stevenson Creek, and was born in the Providence community, northwest of Liberty. She was employed at the IOOF home for eleven years prior to her illness. She was a member of the Providence Baptist church and of Lily Rebekah lodge. Survivors are a niece and nephew, Mrs. L. D. Dillon, Liberty, and Cecil Creek, Route 1.

Funeral service will be held at 2 o'clock Thursday afternoon at the Providence Baptist church, conducted by the Rev. J. A. Robb and the Rev. Howards Keele, the pastor. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
