Arthur Reed Creech, 61, passed away Sunday, Dec. 23, 2012, in Grapevine from cardiac failure exacerbated by residual effects of the West Nile virus. Service: with military honors will be at 2:15 p.m. Friday, Jan. 18, in Dallas-Fort Worth National Cemetery, 2000 Mountain Creek Parkway, Dallas. Memorials: In lieu of flowers, donations are requested to be made to the Neuro Fitness Foundation, 1361 W. Euless Blvd. #101, Euless, Texas 76040. The Neuro Fitness Foundation is a non-profit 501(c)(3) public charity that provides a facility equipped with specialized exercise equipment for strength and cardiovascular training for people with neurological issues and spinal cord and traumatic brain injuries. Arthur was born Dec. 3, 1951, in Louisville, Ky. He retired from the U.S. Department of Homeland Security, Transportation Security Administration, where he served as a supervisor of passenger screeners. A resident of Texas for over 30 years, Art also worked in legal, insurance and private investigator positions. He was a breeder and trainer of miniature horses with the family enterprise, C & C Miniatures of Keller. Survivors: His wife, Mary Ellen Orvis of Keller; his daughter, Jennifer Legacy and grandsons, Kaleb Bateman and Joseph Legacy, of Waldorf, Md.; and brother, Dennis Creech of Eagle Mountain Lake.
