Josiah is the son of John Crediford and Sarah Jones.Josiah married twice:

1st: Dorcas West,daughter of Nicholas West and Dorcas Littlefield.b.---,d. 1809 in Wells.They were married 19 Aug 1797 in Wells.They are the parents of three children:

James Crediford-Abt 1807

2nd.Polly Annis,b. 22 Jun 1787 in Wells-died 19 Jun 1845 in Wells,the daughter of Stephen Annis and Rosamund Dam. Married 25 may 1809 in Wells where all their children were born:
