Mrs. Hilda Credeur Boudreaux, age 85, a native of Vatican and a longtime resident of Opelousas, died on Sunday, January 27, 2008, in Doctor's Hospital of Opelousas.
She was homemaker and a very devoted wife and loving mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. She was a member of Our Lady of Mercy Catholic Church.
Survivors include four sons: Fred Boudreaux, Robert Boudreaux and wife, Kathy, Placide Boudreaux, and Leon Boudreaux and wife, Karen, all of Opelousas; two daughters: Claudette Gordon of Oakdale and Cynthia Quebedeaux of Sulphur; sister, Hazel Collins of Opelousas; brother, Percy Credeur of Opelousas; grandchildren: Nichole Perry, Dodie Daniels, Jay Jay Quebedeaux, Bridget Vidrine, Randall Gordon, Mandi Douglas, Ashley Quebedeaux, Kristy Boudreaux, Courtney Devillier, and Mikey Boudreaux; and Great-grandchildren: Kathryn and Emma Perry, Josh and Timothy Townley, Dallas and D. J. Daniels, Jayden and Colton Quebedeaux, Seth and Ava Douglas, Macie Drost, and Allie Devillier. She also has a host of nieces, nephews, friends, and extended family.
Mrs. Boudreaux was preceded in death by her husband, John Earl Boudreaux; sister, Cecile Benoit; daughter-in-law, Emily Boudreaux; and son-in-law, Boots Gordon; and her parents: Leon Credeur and Josephine Brasseaux Credeur.
Interment in the St. John Cemetery in Lewisburg.
Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Sibille Funeral Home of Opelousas.
