MRS. MAUDE MATILDA ANDERS, 79, widow of Adam H. Anders, died at six o'clock Saturday morning at the Waynesboro hospital. Seven weeks ago she suffered a fall at her home, 152 East Second street, Waynesboro, and had been confined to the hospital since that time.
She was born near Sabillasville, Frederick county, daughter of George M. and Laura (Birely) Crawford. Thirty-five years ago she moved with her family to Waynesboro. She was a member of St. Paul Reformed church.
Surviving are three daughters, Mrs. Clarence A. Wills, Fairfield; Miss Helen C. Anders, Baltimore; Mrs. Lester E. Beck, Waynesboro. Five grandchildren and two great-grandchildren also survive.
Funeral services this afternoon at 2:30 from the Grove funeral home, Waynesboro, in charge of the Rev. Frank A. Rosenberger. Interment in Burns Hill cemetery.
