Her maiden name was Cravens. She was married Jan. 22, 1846, to James M. Johnson, who died in Perry County, Ind., Dec. 30, 1853. To them were born three children, all still living. On June 20, 1856, she was married in Kentucky to Thomas Bebb, who died in Dillsboro Seot. 20, 1888. Mrs. Bebb was a mother beloved and one who guided well her household. For more than 21 years she was a member of the Presbyterian church at Dillsboro, and to the last was a faithful attendant. The last week of her life the Ladies' Aid society met at her house, and on Thanksgiving she was at church.

The funeral services at the Presbyterian church were conducted by her pastor, Rev. C.T. White, who spoke from the text, "Weep not; she is not dead, but sleepeth."
