Mrs. Minerva Storen Dies
Mrs. Minerva Storen died at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Lawrence Reeves, at Columbus, Friday morning, aged 77 years. She had been suffering with heart trouble for many months, in fact ever since the death of her husband, Mark Storen, one of Scott county's noted and popular citizens. Her Maiden name was Minerva Cravens, daughter of a pioneer family. She lived all her married life in Scottsburg, where her husband was County Clerk, Representative in the Indiana Legislature, and United States Marshal. She is survived by one daughter, Mrs. Merle Reeves, wife of Hon. Lawrence Reeves and one grandson Storen Reeves, of Columbus, Indiana, and by three sisters, Mrs. Robert Samples, of Otawa, Kansas, Mrs. Flora Gardner, and Mrs. Kate mcClain, of Scottsburg.
She was devoted to her church, being a member of the Scottsburg M. E. church. Funeral services were held at her late home, Friday morning, whith burial at the Scottsburg cemetery.
