Services Held for Former Resident Of Star Valley
Funeral services were held Tuesday, Aug 22 in the Annabella, Utah LDS Chapel for Mrs Mildred Grace Crapo Barney, 44, former resident of Fairview, who died at a Salt Lake City hospital Aug. 18 of leukemia.
Attending from Star Valley were her two sisters living here, Mrs Wendell Draney of Auburn, and Mrs Max Larsen of Thayne.
She was born April 12, 1915, in Canada the daughter of Joseph K. and Orba Harmon Crapo. When about eight years old she moved with her family to Fairview where she lived until she was married, receiving her schooling in the valley schools.
On June 7, 1938 she married Von Barney in the Logan LDS Temple. She was active in LDS church activities all her life.
She is survived by her husband, Von Barney, of Annabella, Utah; six children, Diane, Kimball, Mac, Sherman, Joyce and Wendy, all of Annabella; three sister, Mrs Wendell Draney, Auburn, Wyo., Mrs Max Larsen, Thayne, Wyo., and Mrs Con Millward, Pocatello, Idaho; and four brothers Asa Crapo, La Crescenta, Calif., Ralph and Willis Crapo, Pocatello, Idaho, and Linford Crapo, Idaho Falls.
Burial was in the Annabella Cemetery.
