Mrs. Dorothy Dell Crane, 76, of Moss Point, MS passed away on Friday, October 29, 2010 in Pascagoula, MS. She was born September 11, 1934 in Pascagoula and was raised in the Bayou Cassotte area. Dorothy was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother. She was also a member of Unity Baptist Church in Bayou Cassotte.
Mrs. Crane is preceded in death by her parents Richard Earl and Mary Myrtle Corley, one brother and five sisters.
She is survived by her loving husband of 56 years James Crane, two daughters Lynn Crane and Teresa (Lewis) Levite, one son Jimmy Crane, grandchildren David Crane, Rebecca Sargent, Edward Carr, James Carr, Michael Watson, Patricia Levite, Bethany Levite, eight great- grandchildren, two brothers Earl Edward and Eddie James Corley, and one sister Joyce Jean Falkenstein. Visitation for Mrs. Crane will be Monday, November 1, 2010 from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. in the parlor of Heritage Funeral Home.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday, November 2, 2010, at 11:00 a.m. in the chapel. Interment will follow at Johnson Cemetery in Wade, MS. Heritage Funeral Home, locally owned and operated, is in charge of arrangements.
