SERVICES TUESDAY FOR FRED L. CRANDALL
Funeral services were held at 10:30 Tuesday morning in Williamson Funeral Home for Fred L. Crandall, 84, with Rev. Bill Best in charge. Masonic graveside rites were in Bean Memorial cemetery. In ill health for a number of years, he died in Lyons District hospital Saturday afternoon.
He was born November 5, 1889 in Kansas City, Kansas. He had lived most of his life in Little River, marrying Attie J. Cooter on September 9, 1920 in Little River. She preceded him in death in 1972.
He was a retired laborer; a member of the United Methodist Church and Corner Stone Lodge AF & AM, Little River.
Survivors include four sons, James of Medicine Lodge, Gerald of Riverside, Calif., Wilbur of Chase and Larry of Sylmar, Calif.; two daughters, Mrs. Karl (Mary Frances) Otto of Lyon and Mrs. Charles Crispin of Williams, Ariz.; sisters, Mrs. Vera Wahl of Kanorado, Mrs. Jerry Williams of Ness City and Mrs. Clara Guthrie, Lyons; 21 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
A memorial has been established to Sandstone Heights Nursing Home.
