Max P. Crandall
Max P. Crandall, 71, died August 15, 1997, at his Little River home.
He was born August 2, 1926, at Little River, the son of Paul R. and Jessie Riley Crandall. He was a 1944 graduate of Little River High School. A lifetime Little River resident he was a retired truck driver and farmer.
He belonged to American Legion Post No. 129, Lyons. He was a U. S. Army veteran of World War II.
On Oct. 17, 1948, he married Marcelline May at Lyons. She survives.
Other survivors include: two sons, Steve P. and David L. both of Little River; a daughter, Jeri Ontjes, Hutchinson; two brothers, Clair, Wichita, and Norman, Little River; a sister, Barbara Brooks, Madras, Ore.; seven grandchildren; and a great grandchild.
The funeral was Tuesday, Aug. 19, at the United Methodist Church, Little River with Rev. Robert Friesen officiating. Burial in Bean Cemetery, Little River.
Memorials may be sent to the Rice/Reno County Hospice in care of Sillin Funeral Home, Lyons.
