Emma Mae Cramer Bonham, age 94, of 764 Emerald Dr., Lancaster, PA, passed away on Sunday, January 4, 2015, at her residence.
Born in Kinzers, PA, she was the daughter of the late Ralph and Dora Axe Cramer and wife of the late John Edgar Bonham, who died in November, 1982.
Emma was a graduate of Manheim Township High School, class of 1939.
In the 1940's, she was employed as a bookkeeper for the former Conestoga National Bank and during the 1960's, she worked for the Red Rose Laundry, also as a bookkeeper.
Emma was a lifelong member of Mt. Calvary Evangelical Lutheran Church, where she was a member of the choir, a member of the Friendship Guild and also taught Sunday School.
Surviving is a son, John Edgar Bonham, Jr. husband of Cindy Landis Bonham, of Millersville; daughter, Sarah J. Bonham, of Lititz and four grandsons. Seven brothers, two sisters and a granddaughter preceded Emma in death.
Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend
Emma's Life Celebration Memorial Service at Mt. Calvary Evangelical Lutheran Church, 308 Petersburg Rd., Lititz, PA 17543 on Friday at 1:00 PM with Pastor Adam Koontz officiating. Interment in Millersville Mennonite Cemetery will be private at the convenience of the family. If desired, memorial contributions may be sent in Emma's name to the church.
