Charlotte Ann Benzing Dec. 3, 1945-Feb. 5, 2004 Charlotte Ann BENZING, 58, 512 E. Eighth St., Rochester, died at 7 a.m. Thursday at Lutheran Hospital, Fort Wayne, where she had been a patient for four months. Born in Warsaw to Estel and Catherine Towne Crall, she resided most of her life in Fulton County. She married Norman L. Benzing Sr. on Sept. 30, 1962, at the Akron Church of God. Employed at Moore Business Forms for 17 years, she volunteered at Fulton County Historical Society. She was the caregiver for her mother in her home and loved motorcycle riding, fishing and researching geneology. Survivors include her husband, Norman L. Benzing Sr., at home; her mother, Catherine Crall, Rochester; three sons, David Benzing and wife Brenda, Rochester, Norman L. Benzing Jr. and wife Kim, Rochester, and Michael Benzing and wife Traci, Rochester; three sisters, Barbara Claxton, Warsaw, Sue and husband Laddie Helser, Warsaw, and Diane and husband David Bieganski, Cowelsville, N.Y.; and one brother, Richard Crall and wife Barbara, Rochester. She was preceded in death by her father in March 2000, one infant daughter, two infant sisters and one infant brother. Services will be at 7 p.m. Saturday at Foster & Good Funeral Home, Rochester, with the Rev. George Hapner officiating. Friends may call from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the United Ministry Food Pantry, Rochester.
