Fannie (Craine) Ciriegio: age 83 of Covington died Monday, February 10, 2003 at 5:23 a.m. at Upper Valley Medical Center in Troy. She was born October 30, 1919 in Bradford, Ohio to the late Famiano and Rosa (Pilli) Craine. Fannie married Philip J. Ciriegio May 24, 1941; he preceded her in death December 17, 1998.

Mrs. Ciriegio is survived by one son and daughter-in-law: Tony and Wendy Ciriegio of Covington; One daughter and son-in-law: Sylvia and Jerry Fessler of Covington; four granddaughters: Elizabeth (Betsy) Fessler, Laura Ciriegio, Carolyn Ciriegio and Sarah Ciriegio; one brother: Joseph Craine of Covington and three sisters: Mrs. Marion Bayliss (Maggie) of Bradford, Mrs. Esther Hunt of Huber Heights and Mrs. Rosie Mitchell of Bradford. Three brothers and one sister preceded her in death.

Fannie graduated from Bradford High School 1938. She was a member of St. Boniface Church and attended St. Teresa of the Infant Jesus Church in Covington. She was a member of the St. Clara Society. Fannie was a cook at Washington Elementary and Bennett Jr. High for ten years, retiring in 1983.

Mass of Christian Burial will be Friday, February 14, 2003 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Boniface Church with Fr. Jim Duell and Fr. Angelo Caserta co-officiating. Burial will follow in Forest Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be Thursday from 6:00 – 8:00p.m. at Melcher-Sowers Funeral Home.
