Mrs. Maude F. Copeland, 95, of Lewis Memorial Christian Village, formerly of Rochester, died at 11:50 a.m. Saturday at the village. She was a member of the Bunn Street Christian Church. Born near Buckhart, Mrs. Copeland was the daughter of Marshell and Edith Brown Crain. She was preceded in death by her husband, Willis C. in 1958 and two daughters, Chloris Young in 1970 and Ruth Hopkins in 1976. Surviving are one son, Roy of Springfield; five grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; three sisters, Mrs. Alma Funderburg of Decatur, Mrs. Nelle Glover and Mrs. Zelma Shively of Taylorville; several nieces and nephews. Services will be at 1 p.m. Tuesday at Wilson Park. Funeral Home, Rochester, the Rev. Robert Green officiating. Burial will be in Roselawn Memorial Park.
