MISS CORA PEARL CRAIG. a former resident of Downs, died at the home of her sister in Pontiac yesterday morning at 6:15 o'clock. The young lady was seized about six weeks ago with an acute tubercular affection and rapidly declined until death came to her relief. The deceased was the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. J. W. Craig and was born Nov. 17, 1891, in Old Town twp., removing with her parents about four years later to Downs. The mother died about 4 years ago. The father has resided since the death of his wife at 401 West Market street, this City. The following brothers and sisters survive: Mrs. Fannie Atkins, Mrs. Mary Wilcox, Mrs. Maude Kimbler, Myrtle Craig, William A. Craig, Clifford Craig all of Pontiac, and Ralph Craig of Decatur. The deceased was a member of the Methodist church.

The remains will be brought to this city tomorrow evening and taken to Downs, where the funeral will be held Sunday morning at 10:30 a.m. Rev. Boyd will be in charge of the services. The interment will be in the Hopewell cemetery.

Funeral of Miss Pearl Craig.

The funeral of Miss Pearl Craig was held at 2 o'clock yesterday afternoon from the Methodist church in Downs. The church was filled with the friends of the deceased young lady and the floral offerings were unusually beautiful. The services were in charge of Rev. Mr. Boyd and a mixed double quartet consisting of Misses Nelle Mikel, Della Davis, Faye Young and Alta Buckles and Messrs. James Dooley, Clyde Dooley, Ralph Davis and Al Mikel, sang a number of sacred hymns. The ushers were Misses Edna Scott, Rachel Buckles, Iris Tompkins and Bernadine Weaver. The honorary pallbearers included Misses Alta Buckles, Faye Young, Sylvia Wilcox, Bertha Phillips and Edith Peter. The active pall bearers were Walter Waybright, Clarence Buckles, Howard Cowden, Charles Dodge, Grove Cole and Edward Linten. The remains were interred in the Hopewell cemetery.
