"Elaine was a devoted sister, wife, mother, grandmother, and friend to many, always providing love and support to all. "
Elaine Craig, 63, passed away on Nov. 1, 2010, at her home in Vancouver, WA, surrounded by family and a close friend. She was born Nov. 3, 1946 to Coy and Louise Revill in Lexington, NC. Her family moved to Vancouver, WA in 1959 and she graduated from Hudson Bay High School in 1965.
Elaine married Larry Craig in 1967 and they moved to the Longview/Kelso area in 1969 where they raised their family.
Elaine retired from the hospital administrative offices in 1996.
The newly retired couple moved to Lacey, WA in 1999 to pursue their dreams of sailing through the San Juan Islands, returning to Vancouver in 2006 to be closer to their children and grandchildren.
She loved to create and produced art in several mediums including: clay, porcelain, drawing, floral arrangement, mosaics, photography, and many more. She took special pride in, and spent many hours enjoying and caring for the flowers in her yard. These flowers, as well as the many squirrels, birds and occasional deer, were the focus of much of her photography work. She especially enjoyed traveling, spending time with friends and family, and "shopping with the girls."
Elaine was survived by her husband of 43 years, Larry Craig; her two daughters and their spouses, Carrie Craig and Hector Araiza Sainez and Teresa and Ken Loftus; her four grandchildren, Ryan Poole, Kainoa Kuanoni, Joshua Loftus, and Jessica Loftus; and her brother and his spouse, Steven and Christine Revill.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Coy and Louise Revill; and her daughter, Danita Bryan.
