Betty L. Craig, loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend, left this world to be with her Savior, Jesus Christ, on July 22, 2010. Betty, also known as "Nana," was born on August 21, 1931, in Sherman, TX. She was blessed by her marriage to Billy R. Craig on December 9, 1950. Betty retired from Humpty Dumpty Grocery Store. She and Bill moved to Moore in 1967, where they raised their six sons. They became active members of Southgate Baptist Church. Betty's life was rich with love. She is survived by her six sons: Rick, Randy, Jimmy & wife Cherlyn, Tim & wife Karen, Scott, Gordy & wife Glenna; and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Betty is preceded in death by her husband, Bill; parents, Elbert Lee & Bertha May Golden; brothers: Robert Spearman, Billy Joe Golden, Windle Lee Golden. Services will be held at 2:00 PM, Monday, July 26, 2010, at Southgate Baptist Church, located at 740 S. 4th in Moore, with Pastor Doug Brewer officiating. Interment will follow at Resthaven Memory Gardens. Services are under the direction of the John M. Ireland Funeral Home & Chapel, Moore.
