Don was born in Jonesboro, Ind., to Oda B. and Ocella C. (Ricks) Cragun, and they preceded him in death. He served his country as a United States Marine. He married Peggy (Heath) Cragun on May 16, 1970, and she preceded him in death on Dec. 4, 2006. He worked at Owens-Illinois Glass Factory in maintenance for over 23 years. Don then retired from Chrysler Corporation where he worked for 15 years as a pipe fitter. He was a member of the Glass Bottle Blowers Association Local #37, the Moose Lodge, and was a coin collector.
Survivors include sons, Odie Wayne Potee, Terre Haute, Christopher (Jennifer) Potee, Noblesville; stepson, Mick (Jean) Dittmeyer, Marion; daughters, Sheila (Jonathon) Shortland, Wintergarden, Fla., Aimee (Steve) Jones, Muncie; stepdaughter, Cindy (Scott) Berry, Fort Wayne; brothers, Dale Cragun, Gas City, John Cragun, Jonesboro; 11 grandchildren; one great-grandchild.
He was preceded in death by brothers, Vaughn and Roger Cragun.
